  • Optimizing Your Ecommerce Store with SEO Techniques

If you’re running an ecommerce store, you already know how competitive the online marketplace is. Getting your products in front of the right audience isn’t just about having a sleek website or great products. It’s about making sure your store is found by potential customers. That’s where ecommerce SEO optimization comes in. Trust me, mastering this can be a game-changer for your business. Let’s dive into how you can boost your ecommerce store’s visibility, attract more visitors, and ultimately increase sales with smart SEO techniques. Ready? Let’s go! Why ecommerce seo optimization is a Must for Your Store You might be wondering, “Why should I care about SEO? Isn’t paid advertising enough?” Well, paid ads are great for quick bursts of traffic, but SEO builds a solid foundation for long-term success. When your store ranks high on search engines like Google, you get free, organic traffic that keeps coming back. Here’s why ecommerce SEO optimization is essential: Increased visibility: Most online shoppers start with a search engine. If your store isn’t showing up on the first page, you’re missing out. Better user experience: SEO isn’t just about keywords. It’s about making your site easy to navigate, fast, and mobile-friendly. Higher conversion rates: When people find exactly what they’re looking for, they’re more likely to buy. Cost-effective marketing: Unlike ads, SEO doesn’t require a constant budget. It’s an investment that pays off over time. Imagine your store popping up right when someone searches for your product. That’s the power of ecommerce SEO optimization. Key Elements of ecommerce seo optimization You Can’t Ignore Optimizing your ecommerce store isn’t just about sprinkling keywords everywhere. It’s a strategic process that covers several important areas. Here’s what you need to focus on: 1. Keyword Research and Product Descriptions Start by finding the right keywords your customers use. Think beyond just “buy shoes” - consider long-tail keywords like “comfortable running shoes for women.” Use tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ahrefs to discover these gems. Once you have your keywords, craft product descriptions that are: Unique: Avoid copying manufacturer descriptions. Informative: Highlight features, benefits, and use cases. Engaging: Write in a way that connects with your audience. 2. Site Structure and Navigation A clean, logical site structure helps both users and search engines. Organize your products into clear categories and subcategories. Use breadcrumb navigation so visitors always know where they are. 3. Mobile Optimization More than half of online shopping happens on mobile devices. Make sure your site is responsive and loads quickly on phones and tablets. 4. Technical SEO Don’t overlook the backend stuff: Use HTTPS for security. Optimize site speed. Fix broken links. Create an XML sitemap. Use schema markup to help search engines understand your products. 5. User Reviews and Ratings Encourage customers to leave reviews. They add fresh content, build trust, and can improve your rankings. 6. Link Building Get backlinks from reputable sites. This boosts your site’s authority and helps you rank higher. By focusing on these elements, you’re setting your store up for success. What are the 3 C's of SEO? You’ve probably heard about the 3 C’s of SEO. They’re a simple way to remember the core pillars that make your SEO efforts effective: 1. Content Content is king, right? For ecommerce, this means your product pages, blog posts, FAQs, and more. Your content should be: Relevant to your audience. Keyword-optimized but natural. Helpful and engaging. 2. Code This refers to the technical side of your website. Clean, efficient code helps search engines crawl and index your site better. It includes: Fast loading times. Mobile responsiveness. Proper use of tags and metadata. 3. Credibility Search engines want to show users trustworthy sites. Credibility comes from: Quality backlinks. Positive user reviews. Secure website (HTTPS). Transparent business information. Balancing these 3 C’s is crucial. Neglect one, and your SEO efforts might fall flat. How to Implement ecommerce seo strategies That Work Now, let’s get practical. How do you actually put these ideas into action? Here’s a step-by-step plan you can follow: Step 1: Conduct a Site Audit Start by analyzing your current site. Use tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz to identify: Broken links. Duplicate content. Slow pages. Missing meta tags. Fixing these issues is your first priority. Step 2: Optimize Your Product Pages Each product page should be a mini landing page optimized for search. Include: A clear, keyword-rich title. Unique product descriptions. High-quality images with alt text. Customer reviews. Clear calls to action. Step 3: Create Helpful Content Don’t just sell - educate. Start a blog or resource section where you share tips, how-tos, and industry news. This attracts visitors and builds authority. Step 4: Build Quality Backlinks Reach out to bloggers, influencers, and industry sites for guest posts or collaborations. Share your content on social media and forums. • The Imperative Need for a Website in Today's Digital World

Introduction In the vast and interconnected landscape of the 21st century, the need for a website has transcended from being a mere luxury to an absolute necessity. Whether you're an individual, a small business, or a multinational corporation, having an online presence has become synonymous with relevance, credibility, and accessibility. In this blog post, we will explore the myriad reasons why having a website is indispensable in today's fast-paced and digitally driven world. Global Reach and Accessibility One of the most compelling reasons to have a website in today's world is the unparalleled opportunity for global reach. The internet has transformed the way we communicate, conduct business, and share information. A website acts as a 24/7 storefront that is accessible to anyone with an internet connection, breaking down geographical barriers and expanding your potential audience exponentially. For businesses, this means tapping into new markets and reaching customers beyond local boundaries. For individuals, it provides a platform to showcase talents, portfolio, or personal brand to a global audience. In a world where connectivity is seamless, not having a website can mean missing out on a vast pool of opportunities and connections. Credibility and Professionalism In the digital age, a website is often the first point of contact between a business or individual and their audience. A well-designed and informative website conveys a sense of professionalism and credibility. Consumers today are more likely to trust a business or individual with an online presence than one without. Think of a website as your digital business card. It's a reflection of your identity, values, and offerings. For businesses, having a professional website is not just an option; it's a prerequisite for establishing trust and credibility in a competitive market. Similarly, individuals looking to build a personal brand or pursue opportunities in various fields find that a well-crafted website enhances their credibility and marketability. Showcase Your Products and Services For businesses, a website is a powerful tool for showcasing products and services to a global audience. It provides a centralized platform where potential customers can explore offerings, learn about features, and make informed decisions. E-commerce websites, in particular, enable businesses to conduct transactions online, opening up new revenue streams and expanding market reach. Even for individuals, a website serves as a digital portfolio or resume. Whether you're an artist, photographer, consultant, or freelancer, having an online space to showcase your work, skills, and achievements can significantly enhance your visibility and attract opportunities. Enhanced Communication and Customer Interaction Websites facilitate seamless communication between businesses and their audience. Features like contact forms, live chat, and social media integration enable real-time interaction. This not only enhances customer service but also provides valuable insights into customer preferences and behaviors. Moreover, businesses can use their websites to disseminate important information, updates, and announcements. Whether it's a change in business hours, a new product launch, or a special promotion, a website serves as a central hub for communication, ensuring that your audience stays informed. Marketing and Brand Awareness In the digital age, online visibility is synonymous with success. A website is a foundational element of any comprehensive marketing strategy. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques can be employed to improve a website's visibility on search engines, driving organic traffic and increasing brand exposure. Social media integration further amplifies marketing efforts. Sharing content from your website on social platforms extends its reach, fostering brand awareness and engagement. In a world where consumers rely heavily on online research before making purchasing decisions, a website serves as a key marketing tool, influencing perceptions and driving customer acquisition. Adaptability and Agility In today's dynamic business environment, adaptability is a key factor for success. A website provides the flexibility to adapt to changing market trends, consumer preferences, and technological advancements. Unlike traditional forms of advertising or communication, a website can be easily updated and modified to reflect the latest information and developments. For businesses, this adaptability is crucial in staying competitive. Whether it's updating product information, adding a blog post, or incorporating the latest design trends, a website allows for quick and agile adjustments. This adaptability is equally valuable for individuals, enabling them to showcase evolving skills and experiences as they progress in their careers. Data Analytics and Insights The digital nature of websites allows for the collection of valuable data and analytics. Businesses can leverage tools like Google Analytics to gain insights into website traffic, user behavior, and demographic information. This data-driven approach empowers businesses to make informed decisions, refine marketing strategies, and tailor offerings to meet the needs of their target audience. Individuals can also benefit from data analytics by understanding the impact of their online presence. Whether you're a blogger, artist, or freelancer, analyzing website metrics provides valuable insights into audience demographics and preferences, enabling you to refine your approach and better connect with your audience. Cost-Effectiveness and Scalability Compared to traditional forms of advertising and marketing, maintaining a website is cost-effective. While the initial investment in website development and design may vary, the long-term costs are significantly lower than ongoing expenses associated with print materials, broadcast media, or physical storefronts. Websites also offer scalability, allowing businesses and individuals to expand their online presence as needed. Whether it's adding new pages, products, or features, a website can grow with your business or personal brand. This scalability ensures that your online presence remains aligned with your evolving goals and aspirations. Social Proof and Testimonials Having a website provides a platform for showcasing social proof and testimonials. Positive reviews and endorsements from satisfied customers or clients can be prominently displayed, building trust and credibility. This social proof is a powerful influencer in the decision-making process for potential customers or collaborators. For individuals, especially those in creative or service-oriented fields, testimonials serve as endorsements of their skills and reliability. Whether you're a photographer, writer, consultant, or artist, featuring testimonials on your website can significantly enhance your reputation and attract new opportunities. Adaptation to Consumer Behavior Consumer behavior has undergone a radical shift in the digital age. A significant portion of research, shopping, and decision-making processes occur online. Ignoring this shift means missing out on valuable opportunities to connect with your target audience. Having a website ensures that you are not only adapting to current consumer behavior but also positioning yourself for future trends. The rise of mobile devices, voice search, and artificial intelligence are reshaping the online landscape. A website that is optimized for these trends ensures that you remain relevant and accessible to a tech-savvy audience. Conclusion In conclusion, the need for a website in today's world is not just a matter of preference; it's a strategic imperative. Whether you're a business aiming for global reach, an individual building a personal brand, or an organization seeking credibility, a website is the cornerstone of your digital presence. The advantages, ranging from enhanced visibility and credibility to marketing opportunities and adaptability, make a compelling case for investing in a website. In a world where digital connectivity is the norm, having a website is not just a choice—it's an essential step towards success and relevance in the modern era.

  • The Crucial Role of Website Design in 2023: Navigating the Digital Landscape

Introduction First Impressions Matter In the fast-paced digital era, where attention spans are dwindling, making a positive first impression is crucial. Your website is often the first interaction a potential customer has with your brand. Within seconds, visitors decide whether to explore further or abandon the site. An aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly design creates a positive initial experience, instilling confidence in users and encouraging them to stay and explore. In 2023, businesses need to prioritize responsive design, ensuring a seamless experience across various devices. With the increasing use of smartphones and tablets, a website that adapts to different screen sizes is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Responsive design not only enhances user experience but also positively impacts search engine rankings, a factor that cannot be ignored in the competitive digital landscape. User Experience (UX) is a Priority User experience is at the forefront of website design considerations in 2023. A website that is easy to navigate, intuitive, and offers valuable content is more likely to keep visitors engaged. Design elements such as clear navigation menus, concise and compelling content, and strategically placed calls-to-action contribute to a positive UX. Moreover, businesses are investing in personalized user experiences, leveraging data analytics to understand user behavior and tailor content accordingly. This level of customization not only enhances user satisfaction but also improves conversion rates and fosters customer loyalty. In 2023, the emphasis on accessibility is also gaining momentum. Websites that prioritize accessibility ensure that all users, regardless of disabilities, can navigate and interact with the site effectively. This not only aligns with ethical considerations but also broadens the potential audience for a brand. Brand Identity and Trust Your website serves as a digital storefront, reflecting the essence of your brand. Consistent branding across all elements of your website, including colors, fonts, and imagery, contributes to brand recognition and trust-building. A cohesive and visually appealing design reinforces the credibility of your brand and sets the tone for the overall user experience. In 2023, storytelling through design is becoming increasingly important. Brands are using visual elements to convey their narrative, creating an emotional connection with visitors. This approach goes beyond mere aesthetics, as it taps into the psychological aspects of consumer behavior, fostering a sense of connection and loyalty. Trust is a currency in the digital realm, and users are more likely to engage with a website that exudes professionalism and reliability. Security features, transparent communication, and an intuitive design all play a role in establishing and maintaining trust in an online environment where concerns about data privacy and cybersecurity are prevalent. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Visibility In 2023, the relationship between website design and SEO is stronger than ever. Search engines, such as Google, consider various design elements when ranking websites. A well-structured and organized website, with clean code and fast loading times, is more likely to rank higher in search results. Mobile-friendliness, a key aspect of modern website design, is a significant factor in SEO rankings. Google, in particular, has shifted to mobile-first indexing, meaning it primarily uses the mobile version of a site for indexing and ranking. Websites that are not optimized for mobile devices may experience a decline in search engine visibility. Additionally, user experience metrics, such as bounce rate and time on page, are becoming increasingly important in search engine algorithms. A website with a high bounce rate may signal to search engines that the content or design is not meeting user expectations. As a result, investing in a user-centric design not only improves user experience but also positively influences SEO performance. Integration of Innovative Technologies In 2023, the integration of innovative technologies is reshaping the website design landscape. From artificial intelligence (AI) to virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR), businesses are exploring new ways to engage users and enhance their online experience. AI-powered chatbots, for example, are being used to provide real-time assistance to users, improving customer support and engagement. Virtual and augmented reality technologies are being leveraged to create immersive experiences, particularly in industries like e-commerce and real estate. These technological advancements not only differentiate brands in a competitive market but also cater to the evolving expectations of tech-savvy consumers. In the rapidly changing digital landscape of 2023, staying abreast of these innovations is crucial for businesses aiming to stay ahead of the curve. Conclusion As we navigate the digital landscape of 2023, the importance of website design cannot be overstated. From making a positive first impression to enhancing user experience, building brand trust, and optimizing for search engines, the role of website design goes beyond aesthetics. Businesses that prioritize a user-centric and innovative approach to design will not only stay relevant but also thrive in an ever-evolving digital ecosystem. In the competitive and dynamic online environment, a well-designed website is not just a luxury—it's a strategic necessity.

  • Developing a Successful Sales Funnel

Here lies the most important aspect of any business: the sales funnel. Some people will call it the revenue process, some will call it the sales process, but ultimately all of the terms come down to one thing, acquiring customers to keep your cash flow in the positive. Without cash flow, there is no real business. Let’s flashback about 3 months: I was in a meeting with a CEO of a million-dollar logistics company, and I was telling him how I can get him more customers using social media. He had what I wanted (i.e. heading a million-dollar company and making lots of money); however, when I brought up the term “sales funnel” he said he wasn’t sure what that was. So, lets break down the sales funnel. The sales funnel starts with the most important concept in marketing, get more attention. You can have the most incredible business, but if nobody knows about it you will never even have the opportunity to sell your product or service. How are you getting attention? Are you running billboard ads? Are you placing ads in magazines? Are you knocking on doors? Are you calling family and friends? Are you a genius that is running Facebook ads? No matter what you’re doing to make yourself known, just know that that is the moment your sales funnel starts. Now, it’s time to get them interested in what you have to offer. How do I get them interested? No matter what your method of getting attention is, I think it all comes down to two things: appearance and verbiage. If you’re placing an advertisement (billboard, Facebook ad, Magazine ad) what matters is the image and the wording you use to convey interest. If your selling directly (either over the phone, or in person) the most important thing is how you look and what you say to the person to persuade them to buy. If you’re going to get them interested, you have to be persuasive in your appearance and your verbiage. You have to be so persuasive that they desire what you have to offer. How do I get them to desire what I have to offer? Well, this is easier said than done, even I have trouble with this still. Ultimately you have to bring the energy and enthusiasm, you have to know where you buyer is at in the buyer’s journey, you have to know what to say and when to say it. How do I make them take action? Always be closing. We know that in most cases the sale is not going to be made on the first call, on the first ad, or on the first moment of attention. There are just too many variables that take away from the sale (time, money, trust, etc.) for it to go through on first contact. Don’t get me wrong, the one call close happens every day and it is very exciting. However, the fortune is in the follow up, so make sure you are following up with your prospects to maximize your sales. That is why digital marketing is so attractive, and so effective. Instead of a salesman having to reach out via the telephone, or instead of having to make an in-person, you can simply automate an email campaign that can follow up with your prospect according to where they are at in the buyer’s journey. The sales funnel in a digital marketing campaign might look like this: Step 1: Get Attention Run a Facebook ad targeting your ideal customer using advanced targeting strategies. Step 2: Create Interest Have a photograph/video that captures the attention of the potential customer enough to stop and read what you have to offer. Hopefully, alongside the imagery/videography, your message will resonate with the user enough that they click on your call to action button, which will direct them to an email opt in page or sales page so that you may continue with the sales process. The sales page may have anything from a sales video, to a webinar opt in, or anything in between. Some funnels will be 7+ steps, with up sells and down sells included, others may be more basic (like a two-step tripwire funnel) where you can simply collect email information so you can follow up with an email campaign. Step 3: Create Desire If you the person did not purchase on the first go interaction, you can use retargeting ads to get them to desire your product enough to make a purchase. You can use testimonial retargeting ads, with each testimonial tackling a possible objection. Step 4: Entice Action Along with your retargeting ads, you can use email campaigns to follow up with your prospect. You can provide discount, free products/services, or whatever you feel is necessary to provide enough value for that prospect to make a purchase on your offering. The sales funnel has been going on for thousands of years, but the online sales funnel is a fairly new concept with a lot of moving parts that can be difficult to learn quickly. If you are looking to get some help on this process than reach out to our team via the contact page or our Facebook page and we would be glad to help.

  • Google vs Facebook – Which one is better for my small business?

The time has come and you know you need to put some money into marketing. You know that you don’t have a big budget, in fact (if your anything like me) you’re wondering how you can get by on a couple of hundred dollars per month and see a real impact. This is where the creativity wheels start spinning. At least you have one thing figured out, print marketing has officially become largely irrelevant outside of brand and name recognition, and so you turn your attention to internet marketing. Two platforms stand out from the pack – Google and Facebook – and so you decide that it’s time to make a choice between the two, but which one should you choose? Google Google has been a go to force for the last 20 years or so, and if you are looking to find a product or service in your area, everybody knows to go to Google. The only problem is that because it is such common knowledge and everybody knows to go to coveted search engine, competition can be high, and unless your making it to the first page you really aren’t going to be seen. This can be hard to do if your on a shoestring budget. The first thing you need to do is look at some common search queries in you industry using the Keyword Planner. Some industries cost A LOT more on every cost-per-click than others. If your a realtor this can be a great industry for you: If your a lawyer it’s going to be tough: Now although you can just put a maximum amount on your CPC so you don’t pay the suggested bid amount, it’s going to be hard to stay competitive when Johnny Legalfield is shelling out thousands of dollars per month on AdWords. So, ultimately the average CPC is going to be a big factor in if Google is right for your small business. Facebook Let’s face it, Facebook is just hot right now (so hot), and with over 2 Billion users per month there seems to be a lot of attention on the leading social media platform. Although Facebook seems to have taken a slight dip in 2017 because the content was beginning to become like “junk food,” where there is endless scrolling without deep and meaningful engagement. However, the social giant has become so engrained in our society it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon. With advertising expenses ranging in the .35c for every click, it can be an incredible way to raise awareness and generate leads, while Google is more focused on driving immediate sales. Furthermore, although clicks and impressions are great, you had better be using some kind of lead generation system to collect those views and engagements into a lead (somebody who give you their contact information). The Conclusion Ultimately it depends on what kind of industry you have, what your objectives are, and the nature of your audience. You should be using both platforms in your marketing strategy, but if your just getting started out it can be more lucrative to use Facebook to generate leads, so long as you are able to turn those leads into paying customers.

  • An Understanding of Digital Marketing

The face of marketing has changed, and now there seems to be a distinction between marketing, and “online marketing.” No longer is marketing limited to its traditional ways, now in the digital age we are privileged to many tools and strategies that can dramatically change how businesses encounter success. While the online marketing beast can seem complex, we will provide you with an introduction to digital marketing that will help clear the haze and bring conceptual clarity on how this stuff actually works. It All Starts with a Website In the digital marketing world, your website is equivalent of your physical location for your business, it’s where people go to check you out and possibly buy from you. With traditional marketing, all of your billboards, flyers and other print ads are meant to send people to your physical store. In the online marketing world, all of your Facebook ads, Google ads and other digital ads are meant to send people to your website. Not only do you need to have a website, but you need to have a good one, or at least one that represents your products/services adequately. With so much competition online your website must be aesthetically pleasing and functional, that means colorful and clear images, great spacing, keyword rich category content, ease of navigation, transparency, and more. There are many important things that go into developing and designing a great website, but because this is a digital marketing overview and not a blog on websites, just know your website needs to look cool and people need to be able to contact you on it. Some people feel that a Facebook page can supplement a website as it contains most all the information needed to represent your brand, be contacted, and generate leads. I admit you can accomplish a lot with just a Facebook page, and this may be a good strategy in limited circumstances, but when you’re ready to take your business to the next level and tap into the online marketplace, a website is a must in today’s world. A good website can work wonders, and with a little help from SEM strategies you can get people visiting your website for free. That means brand awareness, lead generation, and possible sales all for free; however, that’s only after you become an authority online. One of the main reasons the internet and online marketing alike are so appealing to many people, is because once you get people going to your website (especially if you’re selling a product online) lead generation and sales can come without any of the work. Yes, that means no more prospecting, no more customer service, no more …. work? Tis’ a beautiful thought, one that made Timothy Ferris wildly wealthy and successful from his book “The 4-Hour Work Week.” Get People to Your Website The only reason we have a website in the first place is to convert traffic on your website into leads and sales; however, the only way to get leads and sales is if we have traffic (i.e. users on your website) in the first place, so let’s talk about how to get traffic. We promote our website through Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and there are many forms of SEM, but we will talk about “big 3” if you will, which are Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing, and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns. Search Engine Optimization SEO is comprised of two different categories, on-page SEO and off-page SEO. On-page SEO is basically all about the optimizing certain parts of your website on the backend technical side, while off-page basically means getting people to “link” to your website, and we will explain linking below. Both are imperative to a successful campaign, and while search engine optimization is a long-term investment that be a slow process, it is well worth it once you’re on that first page of google for a few different keywords. On-Page SEO — We can spend all day talking about all of the different variables with on-page SEO, but because this is a digital marketing overview we will just list a few so you can get an idea. Updating your H1 tags, meta descriptions, alt text for images and much more will help Search Engines like Google update your rank for certain keywords. So, if your trying to get on the first page of Google for the keyword “window repair” or any other keyword, SEO will help you do that. Google (and all other search engines) have “crawlers” that read websites differently that humans do. They read the coding, and so by updating many variables on your website such as the H1 Tags we can help these crawlers read your website. When these crawlers read your website, and determine you have useful information for the user, then they will automatically update your rank online. H1 Tags – Typically the enlarged bold header on a page Meta Description – The description of your business in 160 characters or less, only shows in organic search results. Alt text – Updating your alt text on your images can provide SEO increase overnight, and can get your pictures on your website onto Google Images for certain keywords. Off-Page SEO — This is when other websites “link” to your website which helps build you as an authority online. When more websites let you link up, this tells Google that you are becoming an authority online which helps your organic search rankings. The strategy with linking is as follows, essentially if you can get 10 people to view your blog on your website per day, then it might be advantageous to “link” up with a more authoritative website that can post that same blog and get 20 people to view your blog. “Linking” up with other websites is done exactly how it sounds, by building relationships with network owners and giving them great content for a win-win situation. Social Media Marketing Some people will call this section “content marketing,” “native marketing,” or categorize it under “pay-per-click” marketing, but to keep things simple in this introduction to digital marketing, let’s just wrap up everything into the umbrella of Social Media Marketing. Basically, in social media marketing you need two things, 1) epic content (blogs, pictures, videos, etc.) that people want to like, comment, and share on 2) once you get some good content, run some ads using your pay-per-click strategies to target more people to see that content. What started as a social network has become one of the most useful marketing tools ever invented. Now, with advanced targeting strategies and conversion tracking the game has changed forever, and social media marketing can be an incredible asset for driving traffic to your website and creating sales. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, SnapChat, and more are all great tools for your business to grow. Pay-Per-Click (PPC) This is a method of marketing where you pay a predetermined amount every time someone’s “clicks” on your ad, so when they say pay-per-click they are being literal. Some examples of PPC marketing include Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and more. Google has become the most popular form of PPC, in fact the term paid search (which is the same as pay-per-click) has almost become synonymous with Google AdWords. An effective pay-per-click strategy can do many things for your business, and ultimately there are two steps running a successful PPC campaign. First you need to build out an account that is tailored to your audience, and has great structure throughout so that people are engaging with your ads. Then once your ads are running, you have to manage and optimize the account based on the data shown. So that’s it, I hope this digital marketing overview was able to give you a better understanding of how this beast operates. There are many things we didn’t cover, but ultimately it comes down to this, get a good website and use a little SEM to get people to by your product or service.

All of these platforms are different, and therefore we use different story telling methods and content marketing strategies to ensure that the targeted consumers listen to the desired brand’s story. -There are two methods that we can use to brand awareness. The first is content marketing, branding, or as I like to say “jabs.” As marketers we create the shareable, relevant, value-driven content that ensures consumers always pay attention to your story.  Effective story-telling creates an emotion that reaches deep down, and makes people want to buy. At its best, they are not intrusive but instead bring forward value, and when done correctly fits in as a natural step along the consumer’s path to making a purchase. Stories are what make the consumer fall in love with the brand, the thing that makes them laugh, cry, feel appreciated, or feel loved. Furthermore, we know that on social media the only way to create such a story is through native content. Native content empowers your story, it is meant to mirror all that makes a platform desirable for a consumer, the aesthetics, the design, the tone. The native content is also depicted on the platform, as each platform is unique and different and requires its own personalized content. While there is no need to change identity on the different platforms, different platforms allow you to highlight different aspects of your brand identity, and each jab you make can tell a different story. As we engage through exceptional and genuine service we have found that these introductory punches are effective by themselves, and can even create ROI. However, while we have seen content marketing create ROI, the second method we use to create brand awareness is through ad campaigns, or “right hooks.” Plain and simple, right hooks convert traffic to sales. According to “Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook,” by the New York Times bestselling author Gary Vaynerchuck, “todays perfect right hooks are always inclusive of three characteristics:” They make the call to action simple-easy They are perfectly crafted for mobile, as well as digital service. They respect the nuances of the social networks for which you are making the content Although we currently only specialize in social media marketing, I can see our company expanding into a full scale marketing company. There are three categories that most marketers are accustomed to, traditional, digital, and social. While we currently only handle social marketing, I can see us handling and being able to do so much more, including traditional and digital. I can envision our company creating commercials for Fortune 500 companies, print out thousands of hard copy ads, and much more within the next five years. Industry Analysis: -One of the biggest advantages to entering the social media marketing industry is the size of our market. Any businesses in the world (literally) can benefit from this, and therefore any business in the world is in our market. Even a manufacturing or distribution company could potentially benefit from this, however, we are currently honing our focus to companies that provide a product/service, as these businesses especially benefit from our services. Moreover, one of the more exciting components of working this industry is how it is ever changing. While I doubt another platform will overtake Facebook as its user count triple the next largest platform, other platforms will continue to rise and fall, and it is our job to find out which platforms will create brand awareness most effectively and efficiently for our clients. While in 2006 YouTube was filled with nothing more than early adopters who post senseless content about how there talking parrot, and maybe how cool their dog looks in women’s underwear, as marketers it is our job to see through the early adoption phase and onto the future of the platform. Competitive Analysis: -Due to the fact that this is an emerging industry, there are currently no giants in the field. No Facebooks, no Googles, no Wal-Mart’s, or Microsoft’s, the industry is wide-open for the taking. In the local market there seem to be a handful of worthy competitors, the most notable from the Portland Metropolitan area being Bonfire Marketing, Sproutbox Media, Adpearance, and a few other notables. However, because we are going to be operating on a national, and even global scale, our competition immediately enlarges. Some of the people who we admire and have modeled our business after, such as Tai Lopez, and Billy Gene Is Marketing Inc., we hope to compete with in the next two years. Many of these companies are established, have offices, and overhead, and therefore their costs are expensive. They charge much more than your average rate, and considering that we are a brand new company, our costs will be significantly lower to start. Furthermore, because the two owners have the advantage of growing up in a time of social media, it is not something that we have to learn so much, as it is we have to master. We understand the intangibles, the nuances, the reasons behind the like, and therefore we can separate ourselves from the competition
